"Not much to say other than First Rate Roofing is the right name for this company because they deliver First Rate Service! This was a difficult job because the original company who installed our flat roof as part of a loft conversion did a poor job, leaving us with a very badly fitted and leaky skylight and a flat roof that was not pitched correctly and therefore rain pooled on the roof. The First Rate Roofing team were a dream to deal with - down to earth, honest and we’re on site when they said they would be and they did a sterling Job. Thank you so much John and your team. From two very happy customers"

"First Rate is exactly as their name suggests - we had John and his team working on our roof for just over a week and they have been fantastic. John came by every day, explained everything to me clearly, pointing out things or showing me photos from the roof and as a result I always felt informed as to what was happening and how long it would take. John talked through different options and budgets with me - again everything was super clear and there was no pressure to choose any option. John’s scaffolders and in particular the roofers were all great - always arrived exactly when they said, were polite and friendly to deal with, always left everything tidy and seemed to be hard workers, enjoying their job. The work was completed ahead of schedule and for a reasonable price, and the work looks great. I would highly recommend First Rate to anyone."

"John and his team have done a superb job in replacing our flat roof. Initially we’d thought the work would be repair only but I saw for myself it was in a worse state than thought and replacement was probably the most economical option in the longer term. However John still presented us with an alternative repair option if we preferred so it was good to have a choice. The finished result looks great and so much better quality than the roof we had previously. John and the team were punctual, reliable, incredibly hard working and polite. They work in a very professional way with clear communication throughout. Everything was left tidy and cleared away promptly. I feel you get an honest, good quality and no drama service from John’s company and I’d happily recommend them to others"
