    "We found J Field Construction for a pain-in-the-rear-end underpinning job after the previous contractor (recommended by the surveyor) had let us down numerous times. From the start, Jon and his team were incredibly professional and helpful - ensuring all the correct paperwork was in place, ensuring we understood exactly what was going on and were happy with any change of plan, and of course completing the job to a high standard. As the job progressed, various unexpected issues/challenges arose (thanks to a previous house owner who was enthusiastic - though not competent - at DIY), but each time Jon communicated clearly, advised us on our options, and supported our choices. In addition, it should go without saying, but they've always turned up exactly when promised, been very friendly, and tidied up after themselves. I cannot thank Jon and his team enough for the incredible work they've done, and would recommend them to anyone."

    "Jon came to assess the cause of a leak in our basement which occurred after heavy downpours. From the off Jon was friendly and put me at ease. We discussed a solution which he followed up with a comprehensive quote of what would be done. Job now completed, new course of brickwork to allow air into basement and a lead apron secured over the concrete cover. Professionally executed by Martin, and everything left clean and tidy. I wouldn’t hesitate to use again, so much so I’ve already requested a quote for other work."
