"The trader has not finished the work that was agreed upon. He still has nearly £1500 of our money that we paid for him to source a window and install it. We've been unable to contact him for nearly three months now despite being able to see he is continuing to do other work from the photos he posts on his social media. The trader carried out work including removing two internal walls, and leveling floors for us from September to December 2024. There were times when he would not show up for a few days when he was supposed to, but for the most part he did carry out the work to a good standard and seemed like he was well meaning and wanted to do a good job. However, there were a number of things that still needed completing in 2025 and he promised he would be back after Christmas. Since then, it has been impossible to get hold of him. It's frustrating to be left with remaining work but the worst is that he has left us high and dry but kept the money we paid for the window we don't"

"I was very impressed with Richard and his team, and have already recommended him to a friend. His quotes were cheaper than a competitor and well itemised. He was also very helpful as discussing plans, and started work the next day after we agreed a quote. He discovered a slow leak under the bath that had probably been there for years, and sorted it out along with the rotten floorboards with zero fuss. He also hand-made the boiler cabinet in the kitchen (see photo), in the exact same style as the existing bespoke units - the work of a master craftsman. His spray-paint method made for an excellent finish thoughout the house."
