They promised it’ll be done in 2weeks, but they took 5 weeks. The finish is so so poor. The floor tiles have cracks in them, the kitchen cupboards already having issues closing properly. The sink has a leak, they didn’t use proper silicone around it. They basically cut a cupboard door and used it as a plinth instead of asking me that there is a piece missing. When I asked him why would you do that, they replied “because they just wants to finish the job, taking so long.” They are very poor at communicating. Just because they wanted to save time, they have ruined my kitchen. I’ve spend so much on it for these guys to come and spoil it all. I still have to hire someone else to finish this job. Whenever asked any questions for anything, never got the right answer back."

With regard to this particular project, we explained clearly at the outset that the kitchen fitting itself would take approximately two weeks, not including the additional work such as the wall removal and tiling, which were part of the full scope of works in the quote. The project was delayed by a week due to the kitchen — which was supplied by the client — arriving later than scheduled. To avoid leaving the client without a functioning kitchen, we chose not to remove the existing kitchen until the new one had arrived. During the job, we completed a number of extras at no additional cost to the client, including plastering the ceiling, installing downlights, fitting new sockets, relocating sockets (which we were initially advised would not need moving), repurposing a damaged 12mm worktop into a splashback, and painting the full room. Regarding the cabinetry, we did inform the client that the kitchen doors would naturally drop after a short time and offered to return to adjust them. We were not made aware of any other issues such as a leaking sink or cracked floor tiles — had we been informed, we would have been more than happy to return and resolve them promptly. Lastly, the claim that a cupboard door was used as a plinth is incorrect. We used a matching door as a filler panel due to missing components from the kitchen delivery, and there is no visible difference in finish. We always aim to provide a high standard of workmanship and clear communication, and we regret that this client feels disappointed despite the additional work carried out at no extra charge.
