About Penton and Sons Ltd Painters and Decorators
Penton & sons Ltd are a long established painters and decorators based in the London & Essex area specialising in Victorian, Edwardian properties as well as state-of-the-art modernism. We cover all aspects of rendering, plastering, painting & decorating - interior & exterior for both the residential and commercial sectors.
The name PENTON has been associated with all aspects of painting & decorating since 1936.(Father John Snr & john Jnr) Terence Penton now runs the family business along with his son Daniel & son-in-law Jamie along with 4 other painters who have worked for Penton & Sons for over 12 years. They have served their apprenticeships many years ago & carry out their projects with the ethics, enthusiasm & professionalism that they were taught.
We will visit your site to discuss your requirements, advise where required and provide an upfront no obligation quotation.
We work to the highest professional standards.
We are flexible and will always try to fit in with our client's requirements, access and agree completion dates.
We are customer service driven and always strive to give our clients the best possible service.
We work from Monday to Friday 08:00-16.30 however working times are negotiable to suit the clients needs.
We are Public Liability insured.
We work within Health and Safety guidelines and Risk Assessments/Method Statements can be supplied on request.
We work with Farrow & Ball, Little Greene, Dulux, Johnstone’s, Lick, Tikkurila Paints.
We are environmentally conscious & prefer to work with water based paints.
Our fleet of vehicles’ are euro 6 + and are ULEZ compliant.
Any unused paint is given to charity or taken to a licensed recycling centre.

"Penton&sons have worked solid for the past 2 months on our 8 houses we had built, i highly recommended them, they came recommended to us and didn’t disappoint, Terry & Jamie were the main guys and they were brilliant, we left Jamie and he’s team to it, great guys and attention to detail was top level"

"i can’t recommend this company enough, from the initial chat i had with terry who’s years of knowledge in decorating shined through, was great to hear, to meeting Jamie on site walking through the work, he was so helpful at suggesting things we done in our home that my wife changed multiple colours on he’s advice and we absolutely love it, i wish i came across them prior to another company we used to paint our exterior but for sure they will be our go to decorators for the future, their prices are very competitive thanks again guys"

"We cannot speak highly enough of Gary who transformed our bathroom , toilet and bedroom. We are absolutely delighted with the quality and finish of the work. He and Jamie are friendly, reliable, trust worthy , hard working and exemplary professionals . The work was to a high standard, completed as promised. We are really thrilled with it all - particularly the mural in the bedroom. It has been hung to perfection. Everywhere was left tidy and clean. They are a great team and went above and beyond with advice and support.We recommend them highly and will definitely be using them again. They are great value for money offering amazing service."

Henrietta - Image 1 "They arrived on time, very helpful, very professional and skilful of their work. They were friendly, polite, trusted to be left alone in my house. They went above and beyond for me and paint area of concern again, making sure I was happy and satisfied. They clean up after themselves and gave advice where needed. They were amazing, very thoughtful and price was very reasonable. I highly recommend their service to anyone looking for painters (old school) style with an eye for details and perfection. Thanks guys for making my home look beautiful and clean."
