At Foster & Son Carpentry, Building & Property Maintenance we have been providing carpentry and joinery services to customers in the London Borough of Lewisham for over 30 years. As craftsmen with in-depth knowledge of our trade, we use a combination of traditional and modern methods to help each customer to achieve the finish they desire without compromising on quality. We work in private homes and gardens and with architects in renovations and conversions.
We believe that all joinery should be done to the highest standards, whether it’s a feature staircase, bespoke shelving, door hanging or even larger jobs such as timber frames or a full loft conversion. To this end, we conduct a consultation with each prospective customer so that we can accurately gauge their expectations, desired functionality, timescale and budget. This allows us to advise each customer of the best course of action based on their particular needs, and helps us to achieve high rates of customer satisfaction for our bespoke carpentry.

"Stephen and his colleague did a brilliant job with replacing our skirting boards. Punctual, polite, and very pleasant to work with. They were also very clear before undertaking work about the condition of the flooring and surface underlying the skirting and this honesty was helpful for us to plan. "I highly recommend Mr Foster and his son. I had skirting boards fitted in 2 rooms and a hallway last summer. After contacting them through a positive recommendation, they quickly booked in an intial consultation where we were able to openly and constructively dicuss the work and set a date for it to commence. Once work began, they were efficient, prompt and worked to a great standard alongside being very clean. At all times they were extremely polite. I would definitely recommend them and would use their services again if needed."
